Description

Greetings everybody!  Thank you very much for stopping by yet another of my ebay record auctions!  I appreciate your taking the time to drop by and have a look!  If you are here to have a look around, do some comparison shopping, just hang out, or even if you are here to bid(!), I am happy to have you here, and I hope you will enjoy your stay.
This time up, I have a 1979 45 release on Dangerhouse records (label # KY-724) by Black Randy & the Metrosquad doing "I Slept In An Arcade" b/w "Give It Up Or Turnit A Loose".  Yep, that's the way it's spelled on the record label.  Now I have had a few Dangerhouse 45s in the past, being a confirmed X fan, I feel it's my duty.  But this label does look a bit different from the X 45s, so I am not sure this is the original pressing or not.  If there's anyone out there who knows for sure and has the time to drop me a line, I sure would appreciate it.  But the A side to this 45 is a classic, even used in the overlooked and underrated movie, "Laides & Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains".  Perhaps if you were watching cable about 30 years ago, you might have seen this classic rocking movie.  If you haven't heard any other of the BR&M songs, this one is a very nice place to start, though there's really not a whole lot to the catalog.  Not a band to be taken seriously, but if you have a sense of humor, and/or you collect old Cali punk/HC/or pre-HC, this would be a nice little addition to your collection, unless you already have a copy, and if so, hey, a backup copy wouldn't be such a bad idea, eh?  This 45 is one i've had for about a dozen years or so, and it has been played occasionally, but was kept in good condition, and inside a plastic 45 cover.  There are no scratches nor scuffs on the vinyl, though it could use a little cleaning, as many of my records are wont to do.  I believe this is easily in my E+ grading area, and my gradings are a little below here, if you would please have a look (won't take you but a minute or so, honest!), I think it would be quite helpful, especially if you plan on placing a bid.  This has a cover-kindasorta.  It's a single sheet that folds over and goes back up the back side about halfway.  But the back side does have the lyrics to "....Arcade", so if you've ever felt the urge to sing along and didn't know the lyrics-now's your chance.  If you need more pictures or description, or you have any questions or comments, please do send them along to me, and surprise-you will get a reply!  And not some kind of "default message" or "auto-reply" either.  One from another human being, or at least I hope I still qualify as such!

In case anyone's wondering, here is my scale for grading.  M  Mint.  Reserved for still factory sealed.N- Near Mint, opened, no marks whatsoever.  E+, no marks other than a smudge that i'm too lazy to clean.  E, a light mark or 2, probably won't affect play. (why "probably"?  Because everyone claims their hearing is better than the next persons'.) E-, marks or wear that will cause a little audible affectation.  V+, wear that will cause some distortion of some type.  V, V-, P, well, you get the picture.

Though I did not see another copy of this 45 listed as i'm ready to post this, and I don't absolutely know for certain if this is the original pressing or not, that is actually good news for you folks, as this allows me to start the bidding low!  Hopefully this will be original, but even if it is, and it sells for the opening bid-hey, it's something!  And nowadays, anything beats nothing!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NON-U.S. BIDDERS!!!!
All items I sell will be sent with a copy of the sale form, printed up from eBay.  I will not "mark item as a gift", just so you can evade import rules.  The people at my post office know me, and they will check overseas packages for inspection.  If you cannot comply with that, please do not bid.

Also, international bidders, the price listed for postage on my listings are for domestic mailing.  I wish I could send overseas for that price, but reality speaks different.  I place a fair price on all international postage.  Watch for the invoice if you win.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All items that are sent to a U.S. address will have delivery confirmation (at my cost) attached, as I have found that it helps...a lot!....to ensure that packages are truly en route to the customer.  This is for both of our sakes.  I will be using USPS "Media Mail" as my primary shipping method, however, if needed, and for an extra charge, I can ship with "Priority Mail", and if i can get away with it for the price, I really like 1st Class, but that's weight-dependent.

Oh yes, if you are the winning bidder, and you are in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I'm afraid you are going to have to fork over the 5% Virginia State Sales Tax.

Paypal is my preferred method of payment, if you need another way, please contact me before bidding.  Or, if you have any other questions about this listing, or any of my listings, please feel free to contact me.  I will answer any & all questions as quickly and concisely as possible.

All right!   This makes 4 done tonight, and i've already had the 4 listings that started a week ago close already.  I haven't had dinner yet, and it' s getting a little late, and i'm getting a mite on the tired side as well, so I think this will do it for me for this evening.  Thank you very much for sticking it out with me, I appreciate your taking the time.  If you would like to have a look at my other listings, I would be very happy to have you there as well, and don't worry, tomorrow's another night, and I still have plenty of records off all different genres to get up here for you, and will do so soon.  But not right now,  as it's time to kick back and relax and enjoy what's left of my evening.  Thanks again for stopping by!
