Here we have BLACK SABBATH - HEADLESS CROSS on UK 1st Pressing. I would like to start off by saying that I am not a professional vinyl seller, this item is from my personal collection. I have decided to let this one go as I already have another (and better, I will state why in the 'CONDITION' section) version of the LP.
This is a RARE LP. You don't see it pop up very often on eBay or any other selling websites. My pricing is based upon what I have seen this LP sell for on average.
MY OPINION ON THE CONDITION OF:
THE SLEEVE: The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. This is a truly fantastic example of this LP. There is some extremely minor wear on the corners and the spine has a very small scuff (it's not a split as no light comes through). Other than that, this is a near perfect sleeve, you will be hard pressed to find another as good!
THE VINYL: I would rate the condition of the vinyl as EXCELLENT. There are a few light scratches and scuffs across the vinyl which are consistent with use and it's age. It certainly doesn't look overplayed...it looks stunning! However, there is one slight issue - on the track 'When Death Calls' about 30 seconds into the song the needle gets stuck in exactly the same spot and keeps repeating that 1 second of the song. I'm not sure what the cause is, visually that area of the vinyl looks fine, there are absolutely no major scratches or scuffs anywhere on the vinyl. Perhaps its a bit of dust or dirt that is stuck and needs loosening? Either way, I am not a professional and don't want to risk damaging the vinyl in any way. A professional clean or lightly running a toothpick through the groove may fix this issue, but I will leave that down to the buyer. Other than that, this vinyl plays and looks superb.
In my opinion the issue is not a huge problem, you can easily skip ahead slightly and carry on enjoying the LP!
I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK ON EBAY.
Comes from a smoke and pet free home. I store all my vinyl's properly and take very good care of them. I have cleaned this vinyl with a basic liquid solution and anti-static brush before play testing and listing. The item will be securely packaged in a proper vinyl mailer, reinforced with cardboard.
