DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Master Of Reality. 1st UK Vertigo swirl pressing with embossed laminated box, Vertigo swirl inner and matrix ending 1Y1/2Y1. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some hairlines, brushing lines and scuffs. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. . Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. No skips, sticks or jumps. Sounds around VG generally. Side 1 plays VG . Music is loud and pretty clear with an occasional tick and a trickle of background sound in quietest passages and between tracks. On side 2 "Orchid" and "Lord Of This World" play with some ticks. "Solitude" has some ticks and a trickle of background sound, hence low grade. Saying that the music is again still prominent at all times. Box cover retains nice shape. It has been stored with 2 cut stiffeners inside to preserve the shape. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light to moderate corner wear and light creasing. No areas of really significant laminate lift.. The rear of sleeve is really flat and clean except for a small area near to top right hand corner where there is a small puncture and repair in surrounding area- hence low grade. See final photo. Swirl inner is in decent condition with poly still attached, splits to all 3 edges and no writing. Clean labels. Check out the photos. The sleeve, labels and inner have no writing and no rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/HARD ROCK/PROG/METAL LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
