DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality LP. 1st UK pressing in thick embossed box sleeve with correct original reverse swirl inner. Box retains decent shape as it has had 2 pieces of card inside it for many years to prevent it flattening. No poster. I have also some very lightly played Sabbath LPs to list in next few days. Packed this weighs 500 gm so overseas postage is as for a double LP. Postage cost includes tracking and a box or cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER). VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. It has a few light hairlines preventing better visual grade. Played in its entirety this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX or very near . Music is clean, clear and very loud. Side one plays a very strong EX throughout. On side 2 "Orchid" reveals a couple of ticks, "Lord Of This World" is clean and loud, "Solitude" reveals some ticks, but no other background sound and no crackle. "Into The Void" is again clean and clear. Embossed box sleeve is also in decent shape. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and light to moderate creasing. It has some discrete blacking in to a few strips of the bottom and top front edge hence low grade. Its not easy to see, I did not notice it when i bought it. Correct reverse swirl inner has light to moderate wear, no tears around the centre and no edge splits. Poly is still fully attached. Clean labels- just check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. . PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/KRAUT/PSYCH/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
