HERE WE HAVE NM UK VERTIGO (6360 050) SPACESHIP LABEL PRESSING OF BLACK SABBATH'S CLASSIC "Master Of Reality" LP
THESE VERTIGO SPACESHIP LABELS (designed by Roger Dean) WERE ONLY EVER ISSUED ON A VERY, VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF COPIES (thought to be between 500-1000)AS THE BAND WERE CHANGING LABELS to WWA. Very few of these still survive, there will be only a handful that retain this NM condition. This hardly ever comes up for auction nowadays!!!!!
Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. Vinyl: NM Sensational vault piece. Not any mark and NO hairlines, totally gorgeous vinyl!!! Hardly played, a few plays max!!!!!!! Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled. This still has some EXCESS vinyl particles near on the spindle, indicating a PRISTINE vinyl condition. This has only ever been out of its sleeve a couple of times.
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! There are not any jumps or skips. There is no background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this 1970 vinyl!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Sleeve: Envelope style Box sleeve. Nice and rigid!! Embossed and laminated. NOT FLATTENED like 99% of them!!!! I will send this in protected packaging in order to protect the shape. Although not MINT this sleeve is pretty much AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!! A few underlaminate mini creases. Embossed lettering and "VO Price Code" to the back of the sleeve. A strong EX+ for this sleeve.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in this condition is nearly impossible!!! These are MORE SOUGHT AFTER than the swirl version!!!
This has the original swirl inner sleeve with polylining still attached.... and ... THE RIGHT DATE STAMP!!!!! Some creases on the inner but still in great condition!!
