Description

This is a first press (see matrix numbers below) swirly Vertigo copy of this classic album. The vinyl is in excellent visual condition, with a good sheen, deep black and un warped. This has been only rarely played and then on decent equipment from new (|Thorens/SME/V15). I cannot see how you could find a better copy.
The sleeve has a slightly different story. It is certainly good as any other - flattened as they all are and with the lamination not standing the test of time as sturdily as the music - but there is something missing...ah, yes, the top flap has been cleanly, surgically removed many years ago due to the irritation it caused. And there is no poster, and the liner is not the vertigo swirl (it a nice old one though). All these things are resolvable if you want a perfect museum piece, but the important thing for sale here is the disk, the round thing with the music embedded in it, and that is excellent....
