DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, large swirl label, matt gatefold sleeve and reverse swirl inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/G+. Vinyl is clean with a good few surface lines, hairlines and brushing lines. Played most of this, including all of side 1, today on my budget deck, I will listen to the rest and update the listing this week. Vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Generally sounds G to VG. It has ticks and clicks in the quieter passages in particular (but not exclusively). The louder fuller tracks sound okay, around VG. . It skips once in the first 30 seconds of the intro to "War Pigs". Cover is in acceptable condition. It is firm and square and has very near heavy edgewear, corner wear and light to moderate creasing. Some foxing to inside of gatefold . Pinholes to 2 of front corners. Clean Vertigo swirl labels. Reverse swirl inner no longer has the poly attached and lengthy splits to 2 of 3 sides. No writing, stickers or sticker tears. Anyway, its a playable complete UK sabbath swirl at a decent price. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
