This is one of 3 classic UK Black Sabbath Vertigo Swirls I have listed this week. DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Paranoid. With Big Swirl labels, 1Y2 2Y1 matrix, Swirl inner bag and gatefold sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo VO 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and a couple of short surface lines. Played brief passages of this today on my Budget deck, decent deck is out of order . Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty near to Excellent. Music is clear and loud! It has an occasional tick but not much at all in the way of background sound even in "Planet Caravan". Cover is firm and square and has a touch more than moderate edgewear, moderate cornerwear and light creasing. Has a name "Wally" (how fitting) printed in biro on top edge of inside of gatefold. Swirl inner has fully intact poly . It is near EX if not EX with light wear only and no splits. Clean labels. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. This is the one of the best,if not the best, copy of this LP you will ever see graded as VG/VG. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/METAL + CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
