Description
Description:
Vintage pressing of Paranoid by Black Sabbath, released on Warner Bros. WS 1887. This U.S. pressing features the olive green label, classic gatefold jacket, and includes the original Warner/Reprise “Distinguished Company” inner sleeve.
Condition:
-
Vinyl: Good (G) – Some visible surface marks and one notable scratch on Side 2 (see close-up photo). I listened to a few tracks including “War Pigs” and “Iron Man” — no skips, and that scratch didn’t affect playback. There’s a bit of crackle, but my turntable isn’t exactly audiophile-grade, so your experience may vary.
-
Cover: VG – Light shelf wear, edge wear, and ring wear, but the gatefold is intact with legible spine and nice presentation.
-
Insert: Original Warner Bros./Reprise promo sleeve included and in decent shape.
Track Highlights:
-
“War Pigs”
-
“Paranoid”
-
“Iron Man”
-
“Electric Funeral”
-
“Fairies Wear Boots”
Honest Note:
This record is 50+ years old and graded to the best of my ability. It plays through without skipping and sounds solid overall. If you’re expecting mint perfection, this probably isn’t for you. No refunds for normal vintage vinyl behavior — buy it to spin, not to nitpick.
