Up for auction is this original first pressing of Black Sabbath Paranoid!
This is a first press record with a 1Y1/2Y1 Matrix on Swirl Vertigo Label 6360 011
This album is complete with the numbered (37/0910) inner sleeve and is in excellent condition throughout.
Condition:
The Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent condition with no rips or major creasing. It has a few surface marks mainly noticeable in strong light. There is some wear
to the corners of the sleeve but nothing too major. The spine is intact and in good condition with minor wear therefore is easy to read. The inside is also
in lovely condition for the age of the record with hardly any ring wear or other damage.
Inner sleeve is in good condition and is intact with no rips. It does have some yellowing along the edges which you can see on the pictures.
All original marked with "Made in England"
The vinyl is in very good condition. Various marks can be seen on the disk on both sides, mainly under bright light. These appear to be light marks and nothing major in terms of damage. I have played this vinyl on my 70s system through the headphones, it played through with no sticks or jumps, very nice sounding with minor background noise with the odd minor crackle. The labels are in very good condition with very minor spindle marks when held under bright light. No stains etc.
