Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Vol 4 LP. Original 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, no "made in England" on small swirl label and gate fold sleeve with still attached booklet. No swirl inner. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 071 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (please read on)/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen some scuffs and hairlines. Played all of this over the last few days on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays VG generally. Music is clear and loud. There is a split second skip on "Changes " hence low grade. Without the skip this be a reasonable VG. Gate fold sleeve is in acceptable shape. It is firm and square and has near heavy edge wear, moderate to heavy corner wear and light to moderate creasing. It has moderate rubbing to front and rear of sleeve. Clean inside to gatefold. Booklet is fully/correctly/cleanly attached but has previously been removed as one corner has a small tearand the others have a drawing pin hole. Side A has a name faintly written to otherwise clean Vertigo swirl labels- check out the photos. No other writing and no stickers or sticker tears.PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/SWIRLS/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
