Description
DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Vol 4. 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix ("PORKY"/PECKO") with no "Made in England" on label. Gate fold sleeve with still attached booklet. No swirl inner with this copy. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 071 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/G. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and a few short surface lines. Played majority of this today on my budget deck- some a of Side A and all of Side B. Ill update the listing when ive played it all. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty near to Excellent. Music is generally clean, clear and loud. It plays through without jumps, skips or sticks. Gate fold cover is in decent shape. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear, corner wear and creasing. Booklet is in nice shape and is still complete and attached to sleeve. Really clean inside of gate fold sleeve. It has a record shop price sticker (£1.43!) to rear of sleeve and a "scar" where a sticker removal mark has been blacked in to front sleeve- under the "4" of vol 4. Check out the photos. Nice clean labels apart from a tiny "S" printed faintly on side A- see if you can see it in the photo, it could rub off but i didnt want to risk damaging otherwise clean labels. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Decent sounding and looking UK 1st press. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
