BLACK SABBATH
superb sound and play
true first pressing with all identifiers
beware of this record being listed as 'original press' by some sellers - this does not mean they are a first press
THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESS
'A Philips record Product' on the label
All band credits in UPPERCASE on the sleeve notes
erroneous copyright notice pertaining to 'all stereo recordings' - subsequently corrected to 'all Vertigo recordings' on future issues
Vinyl plays beautifully throughout with only the very slightest static type noise on the lead in and between some tracks. There are no loud pops or skips. Rated Ex according to The Record Collector Grading System: Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.
The Sleeve has a worn spine but the rest is fine and is rated GOOD:
Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
The original inner is missing the poly liner but otherwise undamaged with no tearing or splits
