Description
Much as I love this album, I really don't need 2 copies so I'm selling very reluctantly! This is a super copy of an increasingly rare album, especially in this condition. It has the 'Dunbar' credit on the label and on the inner sleeve. Catalogue number is VO 6, and matrices are 1Y/2Y. I would think that this is a second or third pressing because of the smaller Vertigo logo on the writing side of the label, no 'Philips' credit, and the record has a polylined spiral bag (not the earlier polythene).
Gatefold sleeve - Ex +. Really lovely condition & spine fully intact (see photo). Tiny amount of creasing along the spine.
Inner bag - VG +. Just a little yellowing.
Labels - Excellent. Bright & clean, with minimal spindlewear.
Vinyl - visually Excellent - (minus). A couple of light hairlines & marks. Play grade is VG++ overall - just misses out on an excellent because of a light click on Track 1. Audio still very impressive however.
All records are from my own personal collection. I am not a dealer but I have been collecting records for over 40 years. Occasionally I have excess items to sell off, all of which have been carefully play-tested. I use a Sansui SR-222 Mk 2 turntable, with an SME headshell and an Ortofon NF 15E Mk 2 cartridge. The tracking weight used is a very light 0.75 grams, which will show up any jumps.
I use the Record Collector grading system, and I try to slightly under-grade wherever possible to avoid disappointment. I always give a refund if the buyer is not completely satisfied. Please contact me if there are any problems, rather than leaving negative feedback (I haven’t had any so far!).
Postage to the UK is £2.50, with £1.00 for each extra record.
Postage to Europe is £4.50, with £1.50 for each extra record.
Postage to the rest of the world is £8.00, with £2.00 for each extra record.
Payment is normally by PayPal, but I will accept cheques from UK bidders.
All items are sent in cardboard envelopes, with at least 1 stiffener. Records will be placed outside the sleeve in a new polylined inner to avoid damage to the sleeve.
Please look out for my other auctions over the coming weeks.
Happy bidding!
