Mega rare original LP of Art Blakey - Jazz Messengers at the Cafe Bohemia Vol 1 (Blue Note 1507 - mono) Original issue blue and white Lexington address labels with Deep Groove, RVG, flat edge and ear on both sides. Also no trademark "R" on either label. One of Blakey's first LPs for Blue Note also features Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Kenny Dorham and Doug Watkins in a Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG/VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile in any way - you will hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. Not perfect, but how many Lexington editions on this you see anymore?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address. Overseas winners will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. Shipping discounts for multiple items sent together.
Paypal accepted or write for other payment options. Serious bidders only - payment must be received in ten days from notification. All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
