Description
BLEAK HOUSE Rainbow Warrior / Isandhlwana / Inquisition – 7" vinyl single release on Buzzard Records from 1980 (BUZZ 1).
You are bidding for an original UK pressing of this debut EP by Bleak House complete with its seldom seen picture sleeve.
Bleak House were a five piece from Hertfordshire who broke onto the NWOBHM scene in 1978 and produce two excellent and highly prized singles on their own Buzzard Records label in the early 1980’s.
Visually this copy is in good condition but there are a few minor surface marks. There is also a small tear on the label on one side (visible in the photo to side of B for Buzzard), but this is against a white background so is not really noticeable.
Playing the vinyl confirms there are no serious audible defects, although there is some light background noise noticeable during the run in/out and quieter moments of each side – but nothing that really spoils this great EP.
The rare flimsy sleeve has a 4 inch seam split on the left side, and two small tears (1cm long) where the record is inserted, but other than this is clean and would be graded Ex but for the defects.
Overall this is an opportunity to grab a nice playable copy of this rare NWOBHM gem at an affordable price - I would grade this as Vg+/Vg+, .
