ARTIST: Blind Blake
LABEL: Paramount 12657 78 RPM (1928)
TITLES: Rumblin' and Ramblin' Boa Constrictor Blues (20565)/ Detroit Bound Blues (20567)
DESCRIPTION: I was unable to find a turntable that would play this 78 RPM record to hear how it sounds. So I have tried to describe its appearance as closely as possible based on my experience with vinyl LPs. Several images have been provided so that you can judge for yourself.
This record appears to be in good condition. Certainly the finish is dulled somewhat and there are moderate scratches on side A (20565). But side B looks to have a couple of scratches that would probably produce an audible pop. The labels on both sides are in excellent condition. Since the record has been in my family's possession, I know for a fact that it has not been played in the last fifty years at least. The original cover has been lost.
