Description

Rare, rare, rare but rough, rough, rough.  Paramount 12679 is Blind Lemon Jefferson with Lockstep Blues / Hangman's Blues.  There's another seller with a Jefferson 78 that describes his as "terrible". I would give Lockstep a G, plays through with a few good pops but the noise is tolerable, voice and guitar not overwhelmed.  Hangman's is a little worse, voice and guitar still audible but at the edge of discomfort.  This is for the collector who wants to say "yeah, I have that one".   I'm not a regular dealer in 78s but I do know how to pack it to get it to you.
