Description
The first Blindfold album, Restrain the Thought dug up deep from my closet. Did not even know I had this record anymore especially on PURPLE vinyl LTD pressing. I loved this record when I was sent the tape originally back in the early ninties. I met Hans at a show in Syracuse NY in the early 90s and started a friendship through the mail and phone (dialers ruled) and this album became of it. This record to me still to this day has an original sound and blows me away everytime I still hear the violin solo in Feel the Wind. Content from blogs and collectors sites. BLINDFOLD 1993 ‘Restrain The Thought’
This first BLINDFOLD full-length exists logically on CD-format and on LP-format. There is purple and black vinyl pressed by Conquer The World Records. If you want to collect H8000, I suggest you get this one. Essential not only for H8000 friends or collectors but a necessary part of any hardcore punk collection. I think this one is also one of the first full lengths coming from a H8000 band.
ollectors information & Description: This album "BLINDFOLD Restrain the Thought" includes the original custom insert with album details, lyrics of all songs by and artwork/photos. Blindfold is a Hardcore band from Belgium. They were highly active in the underground hardcore scene around Kortrijk in the mid to late nineties (H-8000 scene). They played a blend of hardcore and emo with smart political and personal lyrics and lived a drug free lifestyle. Thus their music was aptly self-proclaimed Sober Mind Meditation . They toured Europe a few times, most notably being the tour with Congress and Liar called Steel Against Steel.
