Description

This listing is for Mark Hoppus's 1998 Remastered version of Blink 182's "Buddha" Vinyl LP

Buddha is Blink 182's debut album they recorded in 1995. Mark Hoppus remastered this record in 1998 with limited copies considering the fact where they had previously released an abundance of the album in 1995. Mark personally remastered/enhanced the record because its enhanced quality is more preferable to the public's taste in higher quality vinyls. The album consists of a unique compilation of their random BS recording made into tracks as well as their fantastic well versed tracks.

Blink-182's first album, Buddha, may be a little generic, but it's nevertheless a solid

skatepunk record that illustrates the group's flair for speedy, catchy hooks and irreverent

humor. Recorded at Double Time Studios, San Diego, California in 1995.

-Unscratched with Flawless Playback

The true value is in the artwork on the front sleeve and Mark Hoppus's personalized remastering of their first recorded endeavor.

Some Blink History for all you fans:

Blink 182 had no idea what a Travis Barker was at the time of this recording, so this is who they were: Tom DeLonge (vocals, guitar); Mark Hoppus (vocals, bass); Scott Raynor (drums). The trio's drummer, Scott Raynor announced to his fellow members that he would depart following the SnoCore Tour in February 1998. Though he did not follow through with that. Scott left that night, leaving Mark and Tom no time to find a drummer to take his place. Fortunately the now duo was touring with The Fury of the Aquabats, the band Travis Barker previously played drums for. The ensemble enlisted Travis Barker to fill in for Raynor. Travis had no time to prep or practice with the duo, but considering he is immortal and one of the most talented drummers to date, he was able to learn the drum tracks for Blink's 20-song set list in the 45 minutes he had before going on for his first show with them and performed them flawlessly thereafter.
