Mobile Fidelity's classic release of Blondie's Parallel Lines lp.
Cover shows shelf wear, but is strong and intact. This comes with the picture stiffening insert, lyric sheet, Geo disc ad and Mobile Fidelity questionnaire. Lp is sleeved in the MFSL special rice paper sleeve. The beginning of a tear in the stiffening insert where the lp meets the fold is apparent.
The LP itself is lusciously quiet. There are very minor scuff marks upon visual inspection on this but I spun this just before listing to remind myself of the sound and it is practically dead silent. The JVC vinyl that Mobile Fidelity used is the quietest vinyl I have ever not heard. Debbie's voice is gorgeous and the bass is tight and clean. Surely there is a pop or tick here and there (I did not notice any but was probably too taken in with the music) and between tracks a tiny bit of surface noise can be heard. I used a high-end deck (VPI HW19 mk III/Rega/Sumiko) so your mileage may vary.
There are some marks around the spindle where the record clamp of my old Ariston RD-40 table -- it is not a sign of abusive searching for the spindle, it is an unfortunate side effect of the Ariston clamp design. I purchased this used back in the 80s and have cared for it well in the decades since.
