An original 1st issue on Chrysalis from late-1977. Matrix A1/B4. Please note that BLONDIE was first released Xmas-1976 on the Private Stock label - unsuccessfully. The band bought themselves out of the original contract and, just a year later, re-launched on Chrysalis. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover and the plastic bag warning inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Hard to find fault with. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A superb little player with maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots.
Cover (Ex) In beautiful condition and has been looked after carefully down the years. Lovely clean front without creasing - just a touch of handling at the foot. The rear is looking just as good. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is all legible..just faintest wear in a couple of spots. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
