I have had both of these albums over 40 years. They are in pretty good shape considering their age.
Both were purchased new and are not re-issues. Also, both could use a good cleaning if you are familiar with such techniques
A little about these records...
"Parallel Lines" - great album (if you like Blondie). This album has a couple of minor scratches and some light blemishes but plays fine. Some mild static can occasionally be detected here and there, plus there is one skip. Track 3 on side two does skip. It's noticeable but not severe. The title is "Heart Of Glass" and it occurs near the end. All other tracks play fine. The outer jacket shows signs of shelf wear, but I would consider it normal and reasonable given the age. The inner sleeve is pretty clean but has two sides that are split. One of these splits was repaired with tape at some point.
"Eat To The Beat" - This album is the lesser used of the two. It has one very minor scratch (almost undetectable) and a light smudge/blemish here and there. There are no major scratches or abrasions. Some mild static can be heard occasionally but the record plays fine otherwise. There is also one skipping track on this album. It is track 3 on side two. The title is "Atomic" and the skip occurs near the end of this one too!. And like the other record, the skip is noticeable but not severe. All other tracks play fine. The outer jacket has some shelf wear but is in pretty good shape and still retains some of its original luster. Review the pictures and judge for yourself. The inner sleeve is a heavier, more durable style and is in pretty good shape. There is one tiny spot where the earliest sign of a split may be occurring. It looks good otherwise.
