Description
Offered for Sale is Blood Sweat & Tears "Child Is Father To The Man". It is the first B S & T album, and the only album led by Al Kooper.
This is on the Columbia Record Label, with the record # CS 9619 and KCS 9619.
SPECIAL NOTE: The back of the LP has the record # CS 9616, (released 1968) with the front having a stick on label with the KCS number. (under the shrink wrap) Supposedly this indicates that this album was meant to be released in Canada. This LP you are buying was relabeled for the Canadian market, (here in the US) but they missed the back number. This is the original 1968 LP, having never made it to Canada, still factory sealed after all these years.
NOTE: I was a buyer for two different record chains in Hollywood, Ca. As such, I received a couple of boxes of records a week, to entice me to buy. More often than not, they were always open copies, and if you wanted to sell them to a used record store you could only get about a $1.00 cash, or $2.00 in trade for them. This however is one of the SEALED ones.
The album jacket may or may not have slight wearing, from being boxed and moving around. Please check photos.
