Description

Would impress the most ardent hifi purist...CBS were very capable of super sounding copies in this era. And this title can sound out-of-this world...on the early heavy pressed '69 copies.
A 1st pressing on CBS from 1968...matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex+) In stunning condition -- pretty much a brand new record....from 1968. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side..... A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a solid EXCELLENT+ level of playback. A lovely clean player - total 100% clarity in the signal path.. Would smoke every and any copy you put up against it in an instant. Pretty much perfectly clean flute intro to side 1 -- I imagine that is unusual. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Nice clean feed - throughout. PERIOD . FANTSTIC quality audio.
Cover (Vg+). Clean and flat front without creasing or wear. Small blemish top right corner. Rear exhibits minimal sign of ageing. Spine is 95%+ intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
