Description
Rare opportunity to acquire Blue Beat Special - 1968 Ska LP first release on Coxsone Records CSP 1 - manufactured in Kingston, Jamaica. Side 1: Something Special by Soul Vendors, Do It Right Now by The Termites, Midnight Special by Jackie Mittoo, Let Him Try by Alton Ellis, The Whip by Soul Vendors. Side 2: Get With It by Soul Vendors, Groove To The Beat by Keith & Ken, My Last Love by The Termites, Early Bird by The Soul Brothers, Run Boy Run by Dudley Sibley. The record has been inspected and played prior to listing and is in lovely condition with just a few very light surface marks and feint scuffs which did not cause the record to jump or skip and did not detract from the listening pleasure with no audible faults being detected. The laminated cover is in very good condition and has the original 14'6 price label on the front and a couple of tiny marks on the back cover - see pics. The plain inner sleeve has a tear but as it is the original I have not replaced it.
