Description
Here is a great release on the Blue Note label (ST-84178). It's Blue Mitchell The Thing To Do. Mitchell is joined by Junior Cook, Chick Corea, Gene Taylor and Aloysius Foster. This is the original pressing, with New York on the label, VAN GELDER stamped in the dead wax, along with an ear etched in the dead wax. Hard to find. Original Blue Note inner sleeve included in excellent condition.
Condition - The jacket looks nice with light wear, mostly around the edges. The jacket grades at VG+. The record is shiny with light signs of use, including a few marks. The record grades at VG++ by sight. I listened to both sides and they sounded at least as good as they looked.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
