Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Blue Mitchell “The Thing to Do” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4178.  The playing surface is in excellent condition; Side 2 has an inaudible ¼” hairline at the start and an inaudible light scuff on Track 2.  The coated New York 23 cover is in near-new condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout.  Original Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Junior Cook, Chick Corea, Gene Taylor, and Al Foster. $300.00.
