Description
Blue Note 1575 by Lee Morgan: City Lights. This is a consignment item. The consignor set the minimum bid. Front cover of this is very presentable. Cover has no splits. Corners have rubbing. Bottom right corner has fraying at the tip. Other corners have small wear. Seams and spine have 4 chips on them. Back cover has moderate wear and a stain along the bottom at the right. See pics. Labels are clean with a lot of spindle marks. This has the original Blue Note address on the labels. The center section of the labels are indented, but there is no deep groove. There is no R under the E in Note, at the bottom of the label. The deadwax has RVG machine stamped. There is no earlug. The back cover address looks like it said New York. See pics. I've never seen this combination before. Any Blue Note expert out there who can explain this variation? The vinyl plays well. Please listen to 19 minutes of sound clips from all the tracks, starting with side Two. Visually, the vinyl has about 90% of it's gloss, light scuffs, light scratches, a few heavy scratches that can be felt with the fingernail. This must have been played on a setup with a light tone arm, as it still plays well, despite looking VG at best. Grade cover and record visual VG.
