Description

Blue Note 5008, “Overture to Dawn” Vol.2.  Original ten-inch 161 Lexington Ave. vinyl plays at VG with considerable background sound, though it can be missed at a distance.  The jacket is in VG+ condition with strong seams; there is light wear on the bottom seam and very little corner wear; the jacket is age-toned on the back but basically clean with no writing or stamps.  Songs include “Autumn Mood”, “Erroll’s Concerto”, “Floating on a Cloud”, and “I Surrender Dear”.  Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire.  Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra.  Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way.  This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides.  It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket.  More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.  All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
