Art Blakey Jazz Messengers

Blue Note BLP 4003

RVG

 MADE  IN USA

This is an original mono pressing of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers on the Blue Note label. Pretty rare, but priced right. THIS IS ORIGINAL AND NOT A MODERN-DAY 180gram REPRESS! Its not perfect, so thats why it is priced low. If you are an audiophile looking for perfection, this is probably not the copy for you, but thank you for taking the time to view.

Vinyl: VERY Good; has noise, pops, etc., however didnt skip during play test. Vinyl has alot of marks but as you know mono lps can still play well despite surface marks. Clean labels (see pics), nice heavy weight vinyl like a lot of albums from the 1950's were!

GRADING

Play grade on my HI-END system: Thorens TD 550/Ortofon Arm /BENZ MC, Audio Research PH 7 Phono, Audio Research DSi200 Integrated Amplifier and Magneplanar 3.5.

FULL  PLAY  CHECK  (listened to record from beginning to end)

Has noise, pops, etc., however didnt skip during play test

NO REPETED TICS, NO REPETED TOCS

STUNNING MONO SOUND

RECORD Visual grade UNDER STRONG SUNLIGHT: very good

COVER: VERY GOOD

 Labels: Near MINT

THE LABELS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE WITHOUT WORRYING FAULTS. THERE IS NO SPINDLE WEAR.

STRICTLY GRADED. BID WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE AS TOTAL SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED.

Note: this is a REAL image of the ACTUAL item you are bidding on. This is NOT a "recycled" image from our previous auction

Unless you buy a vinyl record that  is SEALED there will always be some type of surface sounds, or background noise, known as pops and crackling. If the LP has been played a couple of times, it can never be perfect. This is especially noticeable in classical records, which have quiet passages. You are buying vinyl LPs because they sound better than CDs, however SURFACE NOISE comes with an LP.
