At this early stage in their career, Pink Floyd were The Darlings of the Psychedelic Underground and Arnold Layne was released two months prior. Sourced from an Excellent ARCHIVE MASTER and captures the group perfectly in full-flight for the BBC Arts Programme! It features the complete and very amusing interview with serious Music Critic Hans Keller.

After an unsuccessful and cancelled session for the BBCs Saturday Club in July, The Floyd returned to the Playhouse Theatre to record this staggering session!

Often released, this sesion now has the crowning glory of the first three songs sourced for a BBC 6 Music Rebroadcast. The remaining three are from a 1st. Generation reel-to-reel tape of the repeat.

Note: The official single version of Apples and Oranges was also broadcast during the November repeat in place of Set the Controls...and Reaction in G. Due to time restrictions it has been omitted from this release.

One of the final sessions to feature Syd Barrett. Alongside Jugband and a lengthy Pow R, this session also included the two unreleased Barrett originals Scream and Vegetable Man.

Sourced from excelent 2nd. Generation Tape. this inlcudes the complete session tracks from the original broadcast and dialogue from presenters John Peel and Tommy Vance. (Check the name slip after Scream!)
