Blues Cheer, Vincebus Eruptum LP 1968 ~ Stereo, Philips PHS 600-264, 12” 33⅓ RPM Vinyl LP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For auction is the LP Vincebus Eruptum by BlueCheer, released by Philips in 1968. The song that propelled sales of this album was Summertime Blues, written by Eddie Cochran and his manager Jerry Capehartand. It was originally released as the B side of a single in August of 1958 and reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It has since then been covered many times, including by BlueCheer when it hit #1.
Overall condition: Except for a little bit of tape on the album cover, everything about this package is excellent. I rate the package as a whole in Near Mint (NM) condition.
Record condition: There are no scratches, there is no warp. This record is in Near Mint (NM) condition.
Record cover condition: There is light corner wear at the but the silver sheen of the cover looks just like new. There are a couple of small pieces of tape along the bottom edge. If not for that tape, I would rate this album cover Near Mint but as it is, I call it Very Good+ (VG+).
Inner Sleeve condition: This is a plain white paper inner sleeve which I believe is original. It has some minor folds as would be expected. I feel it is fair to grade this sleeve in Near Mint (NM) condition.
I still cannot figure out eBay’s latest listing system so shipping and handling charges, while probably correct for the United States, are probably wrong for everywhere else in the world. Refer to the shipping charges shown in this listing, immediately above. I almost always charge less for shipping & handling than eBay says I should.
For buyers outside the United States, customs and import taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer.
The package will be labeled Merchandise, not Gift.
I usually send out items within a day of receiving payment but several things could slow me down. I don’t like to send things to an address other than the one provided by eBay. Being a verified buyer and having a confirmed address can help.
