Description

 Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner, never played and came directly from the pressing plant/record company warehouse unless otherwise noted.

  • The Seller noticed these have not been offered as a complete set. So here it is.
  • For serious Blues collectors only.
  • The Seller acquired these six albums new. They are one owner.
  • Mint Condition means these albums have NEVER BEEN PLAYED.
  • First (and only) Edition.
  • Thick matte paper on heavy board covers.
  • Gatefold packages.
  • Each album has a Promo sticker on the front cover and a saw cut on one side.
  • Each record has a stock Atlantic label (red and green).
  • Each record is in the paper Atlantic catalogue sleeve.
  • There are extensive, detailed histories and liner notes, credits, musical personnel and artist bios on each album.
  • Producers include Ahmet Ertegun (who Otis Redding called Omelet), Herb Abramson (co-founder of Atlantic Records), Jerry Wexler, Neshui Ertegun, Henry Stone and others.

  • All are original mono recordings from 1949 to 1964. Most are from the early 50s.
