Description

Here we have a rare 1st issue of Bo Diddley's debut self titled album from 1958. This was Bo's first album and contained two of his most famous songs, "Bo Diddley" and "I'm A Man" and kickstarted his career. This is indeed the first issue of this album with the black and silver Chess labels. The record itself is a borderline VG+/VG with some surface scratches and some light scuffs. There is one feelable scratch on side 2 track 4 but I have played it a few times on my turntable and it does not skip, only emitting a popping sound. The cover is a VG+ with some light ring wear and edge wear. Please see all the pictures to determine condition. Overall, this album would make a killer addition to your collection.
