In this auction are TWO WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL 45 RPM RECORDS BY THE LEGENDARY BOB DYLAN.


PROMO RECORD #1:


  • “LIKE A ROLLING STONE” b/w “GATES OF EDEN” by Bob Dylan

  • This is Columbia Records 4-43346.

  • It was released in 1965.

  • It has WHITE PROMOTIONAL LABELS on both sides.

  • This white label promo copy has the 6:00 minute unedited version of “Like A Rolling Stone” on the A-Side.

  • The B-Side white label for “Gates Of Eden” has “From the Columbia LP ‘BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME’, CL 2328” printed underneath.

  • “NOT FOR RESALE” and “RADIO STATION COPY” are printed on both labels.

  • The VINYL is on the STRONG or HIGH SIDE of VG to the WEAK or the LOW SIDE of VG+ CONDITION. There are a number of very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (but none are “feel-able”), and the vinyl is quite glossy! (To me, using Goldmine grading, the vinyl is better than VG, since there are NO scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail or even with the pads of your fingers, but not quite as good as solid VG+ Condition due to the number of very light surface hairlines/scuffs.)

  • The WHITE PROMO LABELS are NICE and CLEAN OVERALL with VIVID RED PRINTING; however, the name “Grainger” in faded marker is written on the A-Side label just above the play-hole, and there is an “X” written in black ballpoint on the A-Side label beside the song title “Like a Rolling Stone”.

  • The correct Columbia Records generic paper sleeve is included.


PROMO RECORD #2:


  • “WATCHING THE RIVER FLOW” b/w “WATCHING THE RIVER FLOW” by Bob Dylan

  • This is Columbia Records 4-45409.

  • It was released in 1971.

  • It has WHITE PROMOTIONAL LABELS on both sides with the same 3:34 play time.

  • “NOT FOR RESALE and RADIO STATION COPY” are printed on both labels.

  • The VINYL is on the WEAK or the LOW SIDE of VG+ CONDITION. There are some very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs (but none are “feel-able”), and the vinyl is quite glossy! There are NO scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail or even with the pads of your fingers.

  • The PROMO LABELS are QUITE NICE and CLEAN OVERALL; however, there are a couple of light sticker stains on one label, to the right of the play hole and just above the play hole.

  • The correct Columbia Records generic paper sleeve is included.

    A NICE PAIR of BOB DYLAN PROMO RECORDS for someone’s vinyl collection!
