ALL complete. 1 X Mono gatefold with exposed flips. Both original heavy-duty large "33" textured label vinyl. Both original CBS advertising inners. Matrix A1/B1/C1/D1. There is one issue the buyer needs to be aware of at the outset. Although the records play really well - there is a visual issue on Disc 1 [Explained below].
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-/Ex/Ex) Ok, read this carefully. Two Discs. The second disc looks really good. Much better than you typically find with just a couple of light marks per side. Disc 1, however, exhibits several patches of what I would describe as frosting/discolouration [i.e. unpleasant & both sides]. My guess is someone's cleaned it with cleaning agent. So, most folks will have an issue with the looks of disc 1 - there is no getting away from that. For some this will be a deal-breaker. But, worth remembering, this is a true and 1st BoB in mono and the original 45 edits. If you were able to see past the visual impairments [see the photo - it is easy to spot] the audio is still very impressive. Remember, these are deep mid-sixties grooves in mono - and the audio has largely survived intact. Disc 2 is a marvel - plays at or above EXCELLENT [just a couple of minor ticks in a couple of isolated spots - that's all I could detect]. Clean-as-a-whistle. Disc 1 - even with said visual issues plays VERGOOD+ on Side 1 and better at NEAR EXCELLENT on Side 2.On side 1 -- Expect a few crackles in a couple of spots - relatively minor stuff. And then a few ticks in a couple of spots during 'Johanna' & a couple in 'Pledging' - which otherwise play well. The only track across the entirety of the four sides where there's slightly more noticeable background is 'One Of Us'. Which - to be frank - is a pretty darn good strike rate. If the audio is truly the most important aspect for you, and you can get round the visuals of disc 1, this is a cracking little player.
Cover (Vg+) Relatively clean front and back with a couple of minor blemishes and a couple of surfaces level creases. The interior looks very smart - most will have aged and this example has avoided most of it. Flipbacks all intact and secure. Tidy name written top right. A touch of minor edge wear in the odd spot and sharp openings. Spine 95% intact with slightest wear. The cover retains excellent rigidity - but it does have slight rumbling within. I suspect it might have come into contact with damp at some point - to be honest it is relatively minor.
Inners (Ex-/Ex)  Nothing post '66 advertised - which would be correct for the 1st BoB release. No ageing. One inner has a two inch bottom edge split which has been taped up.
