Hard to find vinyl version of this excellent collection of Dylan outtakes and rarities, issued only in Europe in 1991. This particular copy is in lovely shape, with the box grading EX. Booklet grades EX- (shows light signs of use and is made from a thinner, semi-gloss stock as opposed to the heavier, thick stock used on the US CD box version). The 5 LPs come housed in individual sleeves. The sleeves for LPs 1-3 show signs of handling (these are also printed on a thinner, non-card stock), with 1 & 2 grading VG+, 3 grading EX-. Sleeves for LPs 4 & 5 grade EX+. The LPs themselves are absolutely beautiful. They appear to have been unplayed, though my speculation, based on the signs of use to the sleeves on the first three LPs, is that the original owner played through the first three LPs once and never got to records 4 and 5. The LPs all grade in the EX+/NM range. There is some small writing in red pen on the inside of one of the box flaps. It is very unintrusive (I didn't notice it until the third time I opened the box). The writing corresponds to the catalog number on the box, so I imagine the original dealer did this as some means of inventory control when the set came into the shop.
