Description

I have high standards and only sell items I would be happy to own myself - most of what I sell is from my own collection and is only being sold so that I can continue collecting. All item editions, conditions etc are described in detail, to the best of my ability. Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home, MONO UK pressing - CBS / EMI variant (licensed by CBS records 1965). Harder to find than a regular CBS pressing, this CBS / EMI pressing is indicated by the matrix numbers 62515-3A-1 and 62515-3B-1 and the pressing ring intersecting the CBS logo. There are also 2 numbers on the other side of the matrix numbers on each side that I can’t quite make out, and a very unusual pressing ‘fault’ (see pic 11) in the form of a raised 2 bar shape running under the label and into the run out on Side 2 (this doesn’t affect the grooves). Having compared several editions, this very clean mono pressing sounds SUPERB, with a slight edge in terms of clarity and depth over the regular CBS mono LP and certainly preferable to a modern mono reissue. The vinyl itself is thick and heavy and has maintained a clean, glossy sheen and has just a couple of hairline marks; other than that it’s in excellent condition and is a fantastic play. The labels are extremely clean with about 2 very light spindle marks. The cover is a strong EX with mild shelf wear only. The spine is very clean and fully legible. The original CBS inner sleeve is extremely clean - no splits and features adverts for CBS albums including Dylan. There is no writing or similar damage anywhere. The vinyl LP is in a new poly inner sleeve and the cover is in a new polylined sleeve.
