This is one of the very first editions has 33 on label before it was changed to 33 1/3, also the matrix numbers are some of the earliest I've ever seen.

A very nice copy of this very sought after LP, the vinyl is in 'excellent' condition, has a few light wispy marks which can only be sen under a very strong light, these don't affect play on my player, rough early orange labels are also pristine clean with no unwanted names or writing.

Sleeve is in very, very close to 'mint' condition.

In summary, whilst the vinyl is not 'mint' it still in pretty decent shape considering its now 55 years old, the cover looks like it could have been bought brand new only yesterday.

I try to be as accurate as possible with my grading of the records, based on the guide in the Record Collector magazine, but occasionally peoples perception of a record are very different. In this case if the record is far removed from the discription I put, then I will give a full refund.

In other words if I haven't put 'Mint' or 'Excellent' then it isn't.!!!

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deteriation in sound quality, despite slight surface marks andthe occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor/Bad : Forget it!!!!!
