Description
This is Bob Dylan’s ‘Bringing it all back Home’. It is a CBS Stereo recording SBPG 62515 (CS9128) The Matrix are stamped Side one SBPG 62515 A and there is a small R further round the run off and Side two SBPG 62515 B and there is a small M further round the run off. The sleeve is a flip back cover by Ernest J Day. It does not have anything written on it about ‘CBS Stereo Records can played on Mono.....’ I think that might make it a 1st U.K. Press but not sure as the ‘Stereo’ is written above Bob Dylan’s name on the sleeve, but to the side? (See photo of the sleeve). The sleeve is in very good condition. It is clean and bright with a faint ring mark where it has been stored. There are some wrinkles in the film near the mouth. The spine is great and the writing is perfect. The corners are good only one is a bit bumped. The reverse is discoloured by age but the flip backs are all good and still well stuck. The original inner lining is plain and discoloured again by age . The vinyl is bright and shiny and brilliant. There are a very few very faint hairline surface marks but no deep scratches and no lumps or pits and it plays perfectly without clicks or jumps or slurs. The smooth orange boxed CBS labels are perfect just a few spindle marks if you hold it up to the light. A great LP. I’ve only played it once to check for damage since it was stored in 1990. It could do with cleaning. I’m not a professional seller so I will leave that to the new owner as I might damage it. Please look at the photos as I have tried to show the condition of the record and to describe it accurately as well. I have other Dylan LPs listed and will be putting other great records on as I play them and describe them. Thanks for looking.
