Description
Here is a really fine, collectable album! This is the original debut album , Bob Dylan Columbia Records #1779 MONO SIX EYE label. This is the first version of the release for sale in 1962. I have included many more pictures than most listings I have viewed so that condition can be evaluated as completely as possible with the zoom feature. I have read the Goldmine record grading standards and feel confident that the record is in very good pls(vg+)/excellent(E) condition as is the cover, thought he cover is on the low er end of the vg+ spectrum. The record plays perfectly with only very light superficial marks on it from handling. (sorry for the reflections of the tripod in some of the pics, there is some dust on it, but I am being as gentle as I can with the listing!) The e album has XLP-55619 1B on side one and XLP-55620 1/A on side two. As I sated the album plays wonderfully and there are no skips, and just a few pops here or there, but I do not have a great table to demo it, so your high end gear may well play perfectly. The cover is in very nice shape with a small split pictured and a bit of corner bumps, stack wearis minimal and only visible if held at an angle to the light, the album comes with the sleeve as pictured which is folded at the lower corner and has an open seam. The record label itself is nearly perfect with no marks. There is no writing anywhere on the cover or label. Please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding on this no reserve auction. I am not a record store, but will have a few really nice albums listing soon and welcome feedback to get it right the first time! I am basing my opening bid on other current sold listings for this and very similar Dylan debut albums. Good luck, this should easily make it to your house before Christmas....
