Description
Bob Dylan
Freewheelin LP
UK CBS SBPG 62193 1963
Rare 1st press on the rough textured orange CBS label with the early
STEREO logos on the front and rear cover.
This has all the hallmarks of a very early first press with rough textured orange
labels, 33 speed on the label, thick boxed CBS logos on the front and rear cover
as well as the STEREO arrows logos. SBPG 62193 on the pinched spine and no
manufacturers credits on the rear of the flipback sleeve with 2 flipbacks.
The vinyl is in truly excellent condition with no marks at all and has seen very
little play. It displays a great glossy shine and sounds superb with just a
tiny crackle or two on the run in that soon disappears. The labels show no
wear and have some spindle marks on one side only and the record comes
in its original poly lined 800513 patents pending inner sleeve.
The early 1st matrix numbers are SBPG-62193-1A-1 / SBPG-62193-2B-1
The front laminated cover is also in excellent condition with no writing, splits,
tears or marks and the rear is white and clean. The spine displays both
CS 8766 and SBPG 62193 and is in perfect condition.
Altogether a really great record that has been extremely well cared for
over the last 50 years!!
UK Post £4.75 first class recorded.
