Celebrating the 60th anniversary of his debut. A collection of hits from an era when music changed flexibly and innovatively.
A Japan-exclusive project to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bob Dylan's record debut is an analog record produced in-house, from cutting to pressing. The second collection of his best albums, released in 1971 and reaching a peak of 14th place in the US, is a two-LP set of representative songs and hits from songs released after 1963. Dylan, who came into the spotlight as a folk singer, changed his musical style flexibly and innovatively at a dizzying pace, greatly influencing rock music and making it rich, and this album gives a bird's-eye view of that process. It contains a total of 21 songs, including five songs that were known to exist on bootlegs but were not officially released, and songs that were only released as singles, and it has continued to be a long-selling album that is different from just a best-of. The impressive jacket, which was photographed at the Bangladesh Concert and is an icon of Dylan, is also wonderful.
