Description

An original 1st mono press of JWH on UK CNS. Matrix A2/B2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono cover printed by Upton.  
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In lovely condition an has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NearExcellent level of playback with a couple deviations per side. A really decent player and plays clean predominantly. This title is so so hard to find playing clean throughout. No kidding....seriously difficult. But this copy is even playing super fussy tracks like Immigrant pretty clean. Again, not perfect...but 9 out of 10 copies will not hit the mark in this track. So, if it can manage 'pretty clean' on this one - you are dealing with a pretty decent copy. 4-5 ticks early in JWH caused by a mark. The only track which was vaguely subpar was 'Tonight'.. the single - bit of light crackle here and there. Not bad...but not clean feed. But overall an impressive player with really not much to complain at..
Cover (Ex-) A smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 55 years use. But this one is exhibiting really good colour retention with a nice solid opening panel. Clean and flat with an impressive rear. Just one sticker removal top left on rear. Minimal edge wear. The spine is 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
