You are bidding on a 1977 import LP Vinyl Release featuring Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash from Nashville in February of 1969, “The Dylan Cash Sessions.
The album cover is in very good condition, but there are signs of wear, and the top left front corner has a slight blemish where a small sticker was removed. The vinyl looks VG+.
Please remember that this album was well taken care of, but it was played as part of our record collection decades ago. This item has been stored at room temperature, in a smoke free home. Please see photos of actual item being sold.

“This album contains Outtakes from a studio session featuring Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash that took place on February 17 & 18, 1969 at Columbia Music Row Studios in Nashville, where Dylan was recording his "Nashville Skyline" album.
During the Nashville Skyline sessions in February 1969, Dylan teamed up with Johnny Cash to record over a dozen songs. Only one of these made it onto Nashville Skyline ("Girl from the North Country"). Most of the rest are here, in perfect fidelity. If you were to judge this as a proper studio album, the notices wouldn't be too positive, due to the ragged and tentative performances. Judged as a loose, informal meeting of two giants, it's very pleasurable listening, though more for Cash's contributions than Dylan's. With full band backing (including Carl Perkins on electric guitar), the pair run through easygoing, rockabilly-tinged versions of Dylan songs, Cash songs, old Sun rockabilly chestnuts ("That's All Right Mama" and "Matchbox"), and a bit of country-gospel. Cash carries the day with several Cash classics ("Big River," "I Walk the Line," "I Still Miss Someone," "Ring of Fire," "Guess Things Happen That Way").
