Description

For sale is Bob Dylan Looking Back Volume 1, originally released around 1970 on what many collectors called Zimmerman Records, but is an unofficial recording, commonly referred to as a Bootleg. According to Discogs.com, it is the electric half of a concert recorded at The Free Trade Hall in Manchester, England on May 17th, 1966. The backing band were The Hawks, before they changed their name to The Band. It has a white label that some previous owner wrote "Side One" in ink on the first side. There was also writing on the spine of the folder-like cover that said "Zimmerman Dylan", also in ink. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine, then put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve or insert that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this release. The insert with the song titles is graded as Near Mint. The plain white cover is graded as Excellent because of a little oxidation on the spine and the ink writing. The record is a heavy grade of vinyl, visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint Minus because of some occasional ultra low level surface noise, most noticeable between tracks. There were no skips or pops and both sides played all the way through. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have more Folk albums, as well as records of all different genres, in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
