And here it is in all it's glory. This could be YOUR copy of a first pressing of Bob Dylan's debut.
The record itself has quite a few marks on it. I have brightened the photos of the vinyl so you can see at least some of the damage. There is a big scratch on side 2 through the last two tracks. I have play graded this record as well as graded it visually. My play grade would be a VG. It's a lot less noisy than it looks like it would be. The big scratch on side two does cause a defenite pop throughout the last two tracks. There are no skips whatsoever.
The sleeve would be a VG+ if it wasn't for that torn off piece in the bottom left corner on the back. The sleeve is otherwise quite solid, There are no seam splits. A few very light wrinkles, which you can see in some of the pics provided. What I believe to be the original inner sleeve this record came with is included.
Overall, it's not in the worst shape and plays quite nicely, but not mint by any means.The sleeve is really nice. I am starting the bidding low in comparison to what I've seen this record go for due to the flaws. If you want to own this one without the massive price tag, and don't mind some noise in the background, this is the copy for you.
Shipping quoted is for media mail in the US. I am sure many people who would put out money for this record may want a more secure shipping option to protect their investment. That can be arranged, but the shipping cost will be higher. I believe Priority is around $8-$10 in ths US. Shipping outside the US will be even hgiher, of course. I believe most countries outside the US this can be shipped between $15-$20. That is a very rough estimate and it may be even higher (or possibly lower) depending on destination.
