From Columbia Records (CL 1779) this is  the self-titled debut album by BOB DYLAN, a mono  pressing released March 16, 1962; playing time, 36:54.  The songs were recorded in three short afternoon sessions on November 20 and 22, 1961, at a cost to Columbia of $402.  US sales totaled about 2500 pieces.

The jacket is sturdy and beautiful showing only minor signs of aging mostly on back surface (see photos).  All seams are intact and spine is strong and perfectly blocked with print dead center.  Overall, rates a strong EX+. Original plastic inner sleeve is EX.

Labels show a few light spindle marks and the glossy playing surfaces show a few hairline marks that can't be felt with fingertip. The LP play grades an astonishing NEAR MINT with only a few soft clicks. There is no distortion even in the more dynamic passages and even at higher listening levels. We give this wax an overall EX+ (or better) because of the remarkably clean playback.  It is stunning.

The LP has been thoroughly cleaned on a VPI and played all the way through on a top-of-the-line linear tracking turntable. We have housed the LP in a MFSL inner sleeve within separate jacket; both covers placed in state-of-the-art, 6-mil outer sleeve.

This is truly a collectible piece of archive quality.  In addition, it is a listening copy you'll come back to again and again.  Our highest recommendation!
