RECORD: VG+ (strong)
NOTES: US 1972 release. Solid play copy - one of my favorite early 1970's Blue Notes. Cover is clean on front but with sticker top left. Blue Note label inner sleeve.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
